Reckoning with Africa and the Desire for a Global Mnemoscape

A new paper by Next Generation Scholars Lauren van der Rede and Aidan Erasmus has appeared in a global-e journal Special Issue Series on Mnemonic Solidarity in the Global Memory Space. The paper, titled ‘Reckoning with Africa and the Desire for a Global Mnemoscape’, is part of a special issue of the online journal global-e, and is the first output of a research collaboration on Mnemonic Solidarities between the CHR and the Critical Global Studies Institute at Sogang University, South Korea. The special issue is organized by contributing editor Jie-Hyun Lim (Director, Critical Global Studies Institute, Sogang University) and has been supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea Grant funded by the Korean Government.
