Publication: Recognition and Ethics in World Literature


Recognition and Ethics in World Literature: Religion, Violence, and the Human is a critical comparative study of contemporary world literature, focusing on the importance of the ethical turn (or return) in literary theory.
The CHR is pleased to announce a new publication by former fellow Vincent Van Bever Donker. The book is titled ‘Recognition and Ethics in World Literature: Religion, Violence, and the Human’ and is published by Columbia University Press (2016).
