The Jakes Gerwel Foundation, the Centre for Humanities Research and the University of the Western Cape extend an invitation to the Jakes Gerwel Commemorative Celebration – an exceptional day of discourse, poetry, music, films and art. Featuring a number of artists in residence, scholars, and documentary film students from the CHR and elsewhere, it promises to be an exceptional day of discourse, poetry, music, films and art.

The programme starts at 10h00 on Saturday, 10 November, at 66 Greatmore Street, Woodstock, Cape Town. Parking is available next to the building, with entrance at Regent Street.
