CHR Director Professor Premesh Lalu will take part in the Decolonizing Critical Theory: Decolonial Aesthetics and Epistemic Violence workshop hosted by the Critical Theory in the Global South project of Northwestern University’s Critical Theory Cluster and the International Consortium of Critical Theory Programs. The cross-disciplinary workshop, which will run from November 30 to December 3, presents a wide range of discussions on art, culture, history, law, and many other topics as they relate to aesthetics, decolonisation, and epistemic violence.

Professor Lalu will present a workshop on ‘History and the University after Apartheid’ on 1 December.
